Located in Northwestern Michigan, about half-hour away from Traverse City. We specialize in breeding Top Quality German Shepherds and raising German Shepherd puppies with show and working backgrounds -- excellent for Conformation, IGP (schutzhund,) sport, family pets, personal protection, service animals, and so much more.
All of our German Shepherd puppies, come from parents that are DM clear, have certified good hips/elbows, are titled in Confirmation (Show), IGP, and have long 5+ generation pedigrees of the same.
Before leaving for their new homes, each puppy has been fully inspected by our veterinarian, microchipped with AKC ReUnite, dewormed, is current on all vaccines, and has already started potty and manners training!
All of our puppies come with AKC registration, AKC ReUnite registration, and a health guarantee and puppy contract. We also offer a lifetime of breeder support. Our German Shepherd puppies are specifically bred for their orthopedic quality, health, and sound temperaments.
German Shepherds make excellent family pets and working animals. They are highly intelligent with the ability to interact on a higher level within the household and out. Once you have had one, no other breed quite measures up!
If you should decide to purchase a Vom Schaffner German Shepherd, you will be purchasing an investment in your future. We will continue to follow up with you even after the sale. We are as concerned about your happiness with one of our pups as we are about their safety and well-being. We will be available to help with any concerns or problems that may arise. Feel free to read over our Health Guarantee, Hip and elbow guarantee (on both our GSD puppies and adults), Puppy Placement policies, our temperament testing protocol, and our Contract. Here at Vom Schaffner German Shepherds, we realize that Obedience Training is one of the best things you can do for your dog or puppy...and yourself! We know that well trained dogs are happier dogs. Dogs who know the "rules" get to go more places, participate in more activities and bond better with their owners. We feel so strongly about training that if you do purchase one of our GSD, we have decided to reward owners that promote this bonding/training time with Achievement Awards (cash back on any puppy/dog that you purchase.)

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR A PUPPY?
Prices for puppies start at $2000. We also offer a great cash rebate program for obtaining certain levels of training and titles on your Vom Schaffner GSD. This is to encourage further training and to benefit both of you. Plus, it’s a fun way to bond with your puppy.
DO YOU OFFER A HEALTH GUARANTEE?
Yes! We offer a two year written hip/elbow and health guarantee. (Details of this guarantee will be covered in the contract.) We have all of our dogs health tested and we get hip and elbow ratings before breeding to ensure that our puppies come from the best possible lines.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Yes! We offer discounts to police, firefighters, and veterans.
